Seam-mounted clamp-on snow guards are used to prevent snow avalanches on free-floating, standing seam metal roofs that may periodically receive winter precipitation. They are typically used on roof pitches up to 45 degrees.

The aluminum SnoCleats clamps are made from 6063 aluminum clamps that fit 95% of the concealed fastener seam profiles. They feature stainless-steel, coarse-threaded, cup-tip set screws that will not seize in the clamp when tightened. The SnoCleat RC and the SnoCleat RCT do not require excessive torque requirements, only 90-inch pounds!
