SnoBar/ColorBar products can be installed securely on membrane/TPO-type roof systems using our unique Membrane Mounts without endangering the roof, harming the membrane, or voiding warranties. A 12 gauge 304 stainless steel plate, two 304 stainless steel studs, and one extruded aluminum ColorBracket mount are used to construct membrane mounts. For mechanical fastening to new or existing roof structures, there are six predrilled screw holes. They are made to be mechanically fastened over the base membrane layer, then a waterproof seal is created by flashing over a 12" x 12" square of membrane.
This is the fastest installing system available because of the special top-loading mounts, which allow the SnoBar/ColorBar to be inserted into the mount instead of having to be passed through it. Simple and rapid installation means reduced risk of damaging the bar's finish and lower labor costs!
